We are a private, not for profit, foundation established in 1939 by
Grace M. Edwards. In her lifetime, she was well known for philanthropic
activities. She was particularly interested in education as a means of
promoting maturity, intelligence and good citizenship.

Through Ms. Edwards generosity the fund has assisted thousands of
Bostonians to finance their college education.

Scholarships range between $250 and $5,000 and are granted for a period of
one academic year but may be applied for in subsequent years.

It is possible to receive this scholarship up to six times. Scholarships may be
used at any accredited school or college leading to an associates, bachelors
(or higher) degree.
Undergraduates take precedence.
